A residential homeowner in Sydney’s northwest was seeking a cost-effective, easy to install and aesthetically pleasing driveway surface to replace their existing, unsealed driveway.
The existing driveway covered a large portion of the property, running the length of the block down one side to a large open area and garage. Given this, the customer sought a non-concrete, non-asphalt based product for the driveway to ensure a decorative natural look was retained at the property. However, an aesthetic solution had to be balanced against practical necessities such as stability and erosion control. Price was also a key factor due to the extensive area that needed to be addressed.
